I love the color of this beautiful linen. It is a taupe linen hand woven in the late 1800?s in Europe. Since it is darker I suspect it is from Northern Europe. It is 27 inches wide with a fairly fine weave. It has quite a bit of flax in it yet that did not get carded well before it was woven so that may have been why it was never used. To me that is a BONUS!! I don?t even pick it out....I just stitch around it. It has been laundered and will come to you with serged edges to prevent fraying. Call with any questions. 352-459-3825
